Port guide - St. Jean Cap Ferrat
Cap Ferrat is one of the most exclusive locations in the Côte d’Azur. Cap Ferrat is the geographical name for the famous cape that points out in to the Mediterranean, but the name of the town and its’ marina is St Jean Cap Ferrat. The Cap features luxurious villas and residences favoured by the rich and famous, and is far less built-up that some parts of the Cote d’Azur. Among the Caps residents is Beatrice Ephrussi de Rothschild, whose villa is now a national museum.
Port Saint Jean Cap Ferrat provides good shelter from Westerly winds, and so the anchorage off the Pointe de Saint Hospice is always very popular with yachts and superyachts, particularly through the summer. The marina has capacity of 560 berths, with the largest moorings being up to 28m. It also has a shipyard and travel hoist which can lift boats up to around 55’.
