Our story began in the 1960’s with David Lewis; Managing Director of Sunseeker London. David's career started at his father’s marine company – Lewis Marine, in Wanstead, East London, and this was the beginning of a journey that would shape his passion for the industry. A few years later, Christopher Head, now our Group Sales Director, joined the business as a Marine Apprentice at just 16 years old. This unique journey from Apprentice to Group Sales Director is a testament to the environment that Sunseeker fosters to promote personal growth. In 1993, David and Christopher established an independent organisation to sell Sunseeker Yachts: Sunseeker London.

Over the next 28 years, Sunseeker London grew and flourished. Today, it serves as the Head Office for the Sunseeker London Group, operating 26 offices in 33 countries across Europe and Northern Africa. This remarkable growth is a tribute to our unwavering dedication to our clients and industry, creating lifelong business partners and a strong #SunseekerFamily. Since its inception, the group has prided itself on providing award-winning customer service in selling New and Used boats. Sunseeker International has recognised this for the past 14 years, awarding the Sunseeker London Group ‘Overall Distributor of the Year’ for our ‘Best in the World’ customer service. Meanwhile, Robert Braithwaite CBE, DL – the late founder of Sunseeker, noted, "David, Chris, and the team are instrumental in bringing the Sunseeker business to where it is today."

Sunseeker London Group is the largest official distributor, selling over half of Sunseeker’s annual production. The group employs over 120 staff who communicate in 14 languages to serve our multilingual clientele, so language is never a barrier.
